This low light test (photo below) demonstrates the superior low light visibility of the new Diamond series, as compared to a leading brand of standard sights.

The angle and lighting in the pictures was set up to test the special reflective paint around the Tritium lamp, so the Tritium is not visible in these pictures. The genuine Trijicon* brand lamps are very bright, as seen here.

The most dangerous period occurs when it's too dark to see your sights but still too light to see the tritium dots or when going suddenly from a
bright environment into a darker one.

It takes from 20 to 30 minutes for your eyes to adjust to sudden darkeness.

Most gun fights are over in seconds.
